Mike G. Alvarez

The Loss of Mike Alvarez is a loss for all of us. Mike was a special person who lifted up others to his joyfulness and love of life. His love of life could be seen in the garden he cared for and cultivated. It also could be seen in the love he had for God, his wife Barbara, his children, his family, and his work. Mike was my friend and I will miss him on this earth. The joy he had in his nature can only come from one place and that is God who he is with. He will be missed but not forgotten....

I didn't know Mr. Alvarez personally but I am Shelly Schelle's Supervisor at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina. I would like to send my condolences to Shelly and family and let you know I am thinking of you during this difficult time.
