Not sure what to say?

Knew him as one of the gang running wild in the suburban neighborhood - the Meadow Drive gang. Russell Johnson, Russell Jones, Kyle, Vance, Steve Robinson. I also ran with Mike during our years at the old 21st Rifle Company - USMCR 1964-1970. I have pictures of him and the rest of the group. Lost track of him after U of U days. Adios amigo.

I miss my friend, wingman, copilot, and genuinely good human being. He lived his life such that when he lost it, he was ahead (apologies to Will Rogers). My prayers are with his family. "We have escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken and we have escaped! Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth." Psalm 124:7-8

It was always a pleasure to be around Mike, you never knew what he would do or say. Mike was very serious about his golf game and flying. There were no free shots in golf and mike was very serious in the cockpit. It was an honor to known Mike. He will be missed.

The angels are smiling.

I will always remember that "twinkle" Mike had in his eyes. He made you feel good just by looking in his face...with Mike around you always knew that something clever or witty was about to take place. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to know and love Mike. We'll all treasure our memories of Mike for the rest of our lives.

We will miss Mike, his humor and his intellect. What a loss!! My heart goes out to his wife, Marcy and daughter Julia, whom he loved dearly.

"The LORD is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18
