Not sure what to say?

An unforgettable player and what a great career. A favorite and beloved New York Islander, his efforts with the team were so definitely appreciated. May God be with the Bossy family in your time of loss.

I become an Islander fan during the 76/77 year. Mike Bossy became an idol who made such an impression in the way he played the game. He played it the right way with skill and hard work. The team, especially Bossy gave me many fond memories of my teenage years. After hearing many tributes after his passing, I believe he was as a great a person as he was a hockey player. Condolences to the Bossy family. RIP #22

I used to meet Mike Bossy every year at ISPO, the Sporting Goods trade show in Munich. Crippled with back pain from hockey injuries but you would never know it. Always friendly, courteous with no super star ego. A down to earth super nice guy

A Long Islander and NHL icon, an amazing player, was always exciting to watch. Thoughts and prayers to the Bossy family, may God help all of you in your time of sorrow. So very sorry for your loss.
