Mike Dorzweiler

I met Mike 50 years ago at NPOPO- North Platte Old Post Office aka North Platte Jr College in it’s beginning at 5th and Jeffers. I’m sure we met in the basement there playing cards! He had a motorcycle and I called him Sotor Mike on his Motor Bike. How I remember that or why I came up with that has escaped me!♀ All the things I saw posted about Mike are how I remember him, too. I am proud to say I was Mike's partner in Thursday Night Golf League @ Iron Eagle for as many years as I can remember. We always had a great time. He wasn't much of a drinker, but we'd usually have a beer after the round, win or lose. I'm REALLY,REALLY,REALLY, going to miss him!!! RIP Mike.

His smile would light up the whole room. He always had a positive attitude and was always fun to be with. We love you Aunt Karla and will always remember how much he loved you. RIP Uncle Mike.

I am very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. What a great guy. I will miss seeing and talking to him at the golf course. Prayers for Mike's family.
