Not sure what to say?

Pastor Mike was a mentor to many and Godly leader and teacher. He is missed and rejoice he is at peace. Glen and Linda Auman

When I was 8 I was baptized in water at 1st Assembly, Pastor Mike was doing the honors. On the way down the steps into the baptismal tank I slipped and the first thing anybody saw of me was my legs flailing from behind the curtain, Pastor Mike was not laughing on the outside, but looking back, I bet he was whooping on the inside with that trademark laugh he had. Somehow, between 8 and my freshman year of high school I got lost, but when I came back, not only was Pastor Mike there to help...

What an amazing man of God! He was such an inspiration to all who knew him. I am grateful to have been a student under his leadership, and thankful for his friendship to our family. He will be dearly missed! Praying for his precious family.

We are so sorry the passing of your love one. Was the principal to are children for many years. May God bless your family Sandy and J.C. King

Char'ae, Joy, Amy, Jacob, and Jean- What can one say about Pastor Mike in just a few words! So many stories and memories. You all are in our prayers!!!!

What an inspiration Pastor Mike was to me. Loved working with him back in the day. Remember his amazing talent to transform the school into incredible mission conferences and a winter wonderland. He will be hugely missed.

My wife and I worked at First Assembly back in the 70's as youth pastors. I remember Pastor Mike's laugh. I remember him building booths and leading the Fourth of July Festivals and his tall Uncle Sam hat. I am sad to hear of his passing. He will be greatly missed. He touched many people's lives.

It is always sad to see the passing of one of the "old guard" of the faith. My condolences to wife and family.

Every time I passed by the house I always thought that I should stop and say hello to my old friend, I guess I should have. Our life here on earth is but a breath....I will see you someday on the other side, maybe you, me, and Miss Judy can have a cup of tea.
