Very sad to hear the news of Mike's passing. He was the kind of friend everyone needs to have in their life. A kind individual to everyone, he would go out of his way to do the most unusual things to help people in need. Mike was truly an amazing guy and will certainly be missed. In the nearly 35 years I knew him, I felt blessed each time I was able to see an unexpected act of kindness towards someone in need of something. So many memories here. Lynryd skynyrd tour bus party, bowling leagues, 4th of July fireworks party with the Beattys, bands and late nights playing, Mandy & Malcolm, too many things to list. We did have fun. Horrible to see this. Too young to leave so soon. Hope heaven enjoys your music - rock on for us down here. It's a sadder place now. I hope you have peace and get to play with Leon.!
