Mike Hovis

I was a recreation student at the UW when Dr. Hovis was teaching (the last 2 years of the program.)I also served on WRPA committees with Mike. Great mentor, professor - can't say enough good things about him. He touched many lives, I am sorry for your loss, too young! Marny Burdega from Deer Park, formerly Mercer Island Parks, sends her condolences also.

I have wonderful memories of Mike. I know he will be sorely missed by many. He is in a much happier place. My thoughts are with Maryn and the family.
