Mike was born on November 25, 1930 and passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. Mike was a resident of Michigan at the time of passing. Mike was married to Shirley. Family will receive friends Saturday 11:00am? 3:00pm with wake service Dangark starting at 3:00pm at A.J. Desmond Sons Vasu Rodgers Connell Chapel 32515 Woodward btwn 13-14 Mile Royal Oak. Mike always paid by cash in a envelope at the end of the week. He started me off with 1.25 dollars an hour and I earned it.
His sister-in-law Ruth taught me how to run the cash register. Very good memories

In another remembrance of Mike he always drove his white Cadillac when he owned Mikes fruit Market and would sneak up behind us when I was cashiering and check me. It was kind of funny. Ruth his sister in law would always call him BIG Mike. I was only 16 then a very find memory of him.

I worked for Mike for many years (late 59-65) at his produce markets. He taught me everything about hard work, treating people well and integrity. I owe him for putting me on a good path. RIP Mike!

I remember Mike when I was 16 years old. He gave me my first job at Mikes Fruit Market along with the late Mike Sarkissian. My brother John was a close friend as well until he moved from Michigan. RIP from Dan Chmela
