I remember listening to Mike way back in high school His style made it exciting, that no other broadcasters can match! It was like you were at the game. God must want the best to call heaven's hockey games! Thank you Mike for all the good times. May your family find comfort with God at this time.

I had the pleasure of working (sort of) with Mike when he was PR man and radio voice of the Phoenix Roadrunners in the old Western Hockey League in the early 1970s. Enjoyable and pleasant in a great atmosphere. RIP Mike. I was glad to know you, if only briefly.
