There are so many happy memories of Mike McKool, as State Senator and County Chair. Texans continue to be protected by his legislation today.

The torch has been passed to another generation of Democrats, whose leaders will continue to remember and honor the good work of Mike McKool.

We are Betty's first cousins once removed. We remember Mike as one of the most important members of our extended family. He was a truly great man.

I was born and raised in Dallas and as a child, I stuffed envelopes for Mr. McKool's campaigns. Our families have been intertwined for many years and I have always looked up to him. We were all very proud of him as a state senater and for his strength in standing up for what he believed in.

My Best Wishes to the McKool Family and Sincere Sadness for a wonderful man,

Mike McCool was a fair, intelligent and nice man. He contributed a great deal to Dallas County politics and to the community in general. He was a voice of reason in the turbulent era of the '70's.
My condolences to his family.

Mike McKool was a "big" man who stood for the pricipals that he believed in. A strong political and legal leader, his unique voice will be missed in the Dallas and Texas communities.

Sincere condolences to the entire Family.
