Dear Rogers Family,
Hello my name is Diana Jordan and I went to Horace Mann School with Mike, Peter and Suzy. I just learned today of his passing and I wanted extend my condolences and prayers to you all, his wife, and kids. Mike used to call me Skippy ( because I was so much shorter than him) and that was one of my favorite nick-names and childhood memories. He was also one the kids that never picked on me because of my disability and that meant the world to me. I was touched when he...

I had Mike Rogers as a professor at Chicago-Kent College in 2004. He taught a Saturday morning class on using computers and other technology in the courtroom. Despite the day, and the early hour (8:00am), He was such an interesting and engaging teacher that I never missed a class, and made sure to show up early. I would venture to say I learned more from him that I have applied in my daily practice, than any other professor at the school.
Personally too, he was someone who was...

Dear family:
I have just learned of my brother's passing. I became real ill on the 27th and just read about Mike. He made me a better attorney having to try cases against him. He was a REAL friend and I will miss him so much. Cordelia and kids, if I can help I will as soon as I get well.
Love,
Judge Darron Bowden

There is immediately less laughter in the world. Although once my boss, he was at all times my teacher, mentor and friend. As is the case with so many others, he helped me in too many ways to mention. I am so sad he is no longer with us. My thoughts go out to his family.

To the Rogers family--Mike helped so many people during his life. He was best at being a public servant and when those days disappeared he began to do the same. His life was a triumph, his death a withering tragedy.Comfort yourself with the thought that he is already well-known in heaven. TEE ,LaGrange

I remember like it was yesterday running through the Krawzoff's yard and off the fence onto the roof of the Roger's screen porch and along the big cement pool playing hide and seek or G.I. Joe. No cares in the world at that time. Pete, Susie, Mark and Mr. Rogers, I'm sorry to hear about Mike. I'll be thinking about your family and wish you strength and good memories.

As a former trial ad team member and student of Mike's, I am shocked and saddened by his untimely passing. My prayers go to his family, and hope that they find solace in the number of people that Mike touched and made better people and lawyers.
