Gov. Mike Stepovich

Dear Stepovich family - I was certainly saddened to hear of your fathers passing. Our prayers and condolences go out to you all from the Cutrona family. While my dad was stationed at Ft Wainwright (1963-65) our parents were good friends, and had some great times together. Your parents hosted us at your Harding Lake cabin as we were leaving Alaska back to the lower '48 in 1965. Your Dad left a legacy you are all certaily proud of and should be.

He was a great man!

It was a pleasure to have known you Mr. Stepovich .. and a pleasure to have your Great Grandson for my Grandson. I will always have good thoughts of having first met you at the Petroleum Club of Fairbanks .. so may years ago .. you were always such a gentleman .. may you Rest In Peace .. Sir.

My condolences to Mike's family. A truely honest man and a fine family man. A person who was always looking for the right way to do things.

I was a beneficiary of the hard work he and his wife put into HIPOW, and I deeply admire all of the Stepovich family for their faith,love, friendliness, and work to preserve the legacy of Governor Mike and Matilla and all the great Alaskan pioneers, including my own grandparents. Grandpa Mike is in our thoughts and prayers as is the entire Stepovich family. We are very honored to have met and to have spent time with this wonderful man. May he enjoy eternity in heaven with his beautiful wife Matilda. Love always, Ann, Robert and Cassidy
