Not sure what to say?

A poem by Amythist Francis, in memory of her grandfather Mikel Bosma.

Gone

Playing and laughing, but it's all gone,A true love's kiss fades away into the dusk. In the end, it's all lies, Never letting go of what is true, even when it's gone.

To me my grandfather was a loyal and faithful man his faith in god and his love for his family is what kept him going all this time the bad times are what makes us strong even though i hate the fact that he is gone i would rather...

well my dad, what can i say? we all loved him very much. He came into our lives when me and my two sibs were very little and he was always a good dad. HE made us feel as though we were his, and i always think of him as my dad. He taught us how to be God fearing , strength in all things, how to change a tire ! :) and even though he is now gone I miss him very much. His humor , his laugh, and quiet voice. He was a quiet man with a lot of inner strength and his grandchildren will miss him...

I was pretty good friends with Mikel back in the early 70's. We both played guitar and liked most of the same music. He was alway such a good kid. I just noticed his obituary in the Blackstone Valley Tribune today.
I will always remember Mikel as a gentle soul, smiling and laughing; enjoying life. I lost track of him many years ago when he moved away. But I am very saddened by this news and wish to offer my sympathy and condolences to his entire family.

We, at Mapleside Deli, will miss Mike's smiling face when he would come in to order or pick up his subs from us. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family in this time of sorrow.

We send our deepest condolences to our good friend Barb and her family. You will be in our hearts and prayer's . Mikel will be greatly missed by all of us.
With all of our love,
The Cote's

I would like to express my deepest sympathy and my heart goes out to you at this difficult time. I will always remember playing pool downstairs in the house in Orange and listening to Mike's vast collection of Dylan albums. He was a quiet man who always made guests feel welcome and honestly cared for everyone. It always brings a smile to my face when i think of the times he was watching his favorite 3 stooges tape he had seen a thousand times and would still laugh like it was the first time....

I always enjoyed waiting on Mikel when he came into the store to shop. He was a soft spoken man who loved music. My thoughts are with his family.

Mikel at Kevin's 1st birthday

My family and I have had the pleasure of getting to know Mikel and Barb through our kids spending time with them daily. Mikel used to love to brag about the Yankees to my husband who is a Red Sox fan. Mikel even used to try and get our kids to say "Go Yankees". He loved spending time with the kids and we used to love just sitting with him and Barb talking and watching the day go by. My son, Kevin loved hanging out with "Mikel B" and they would do guy things. Mikel taught Kev some new...
