Hello, Mikell's family,
I knew your mother in the late 70s and loved her quick wit, her honest observations and her kindness. She was very proud when she spoke of her kids. I'm grateful to have met her.

I was very very sad to find that Mikell passed away. I had not been in touch with her for a few years but always considered her a dear friend and teacher. I will always remember her great sense of humor. I met her at WWU in the late 70's. She was always a great support and sort of like the mom I never had.

Julie - I loved your mom's spirit and her dry (wicked) sense of humor. She was always supportive of me and I miss talking to her and laughing with her. I was also impressed by your relationship with her - you both cared enough to work at it. She loved her boys just as fiercely.
