Not sure what to say?

Ihave known Milli for 7 years now. She was both my best friend and my wife for 2 of those 7 years. I will miss her more than I can ever say. I know she will be looking out for me and her daughter Tati and son Damian. We love you and miss you.

I knew Millie from MCCTAMPA. She did have a great smile and infectious laugh and a story to tell. I last saw her the day before her surgery. I was going to visit my best friend from church Doug Doughty at TGH and dropped in to see her in the CSU. She was sleeping so I left her a note and went to visit my friend Doug. After seeing Doug I stopped in to see Millie again and she was still sleeping so I rubbed her arm and then the top of her head. You know that shortttttttt hair cut she sported....

I knew Millie from the USF Family Medicine Clinic. I was her nurse while she was under the care of Dr. E. Coris. I am sadened hear of Millie's passing. I often pick, teased and got on Millie case about taking better care of herself, but she knew it was because I cared.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family now. I know your adjustment will be a tough one, but I know Millie was a fighter so I can bet that the rest of her family has that same "fight" within them to make it through...

MY DEEPEST THOUGHTS AND SYMPATHY GOES OUT TO THE RIVERA FAMILY. MILLIE WAS A GREAT FRIEND AND PT HERE AT THE USF MEDICAL CLINIC, WE'LL MISS YOU MILLIE. LOVE SHERICA FRANKLIN (USF PG)

My partner Marcy and I knew Millie from church. We always enjoyed seeing her smiles and enjoyed her company. Millie will definitely be a loss to the gay community, and at MCC Tampa Church. May God shine His light upon you Millie! With love.....

I guess I'm considered an ol' timer in the gay community now. I traveled the same "circuit" with Millie for years, but not really interacting personally with her for a long time. We were always cordial to each other and would give the infamous nod when we saw each other.
Then years later she was instrumental in introducing me to my significant everything, Elayne, with whom she worked at the time. Millie was very positive and supportive to Elayne while she was making "the transition"...

Millie and I worked together for a few years,She was my assistant in my day care center. The years that Millie worked for me were major impacting years in my life. There are two entries in this guestbook that represent what Millie stands for in her much too short time here on this earthly plain,"bringing people together" you see Millie Rivera and Tina Embry helped my wife and I find each other ..and YES we are still together after 8 years we still love each other 24/7 Millie has always been...

I knew Millie from working with her at the Lab - always so funny, cheerful - a good person. I'm glad I knew her, it was one of the nicer times of my life. I'll miss hearing her voice and her laughter.

We worked with Millie at a laboratory and appreciated the kind and caring person she was.
Our thoughts are with the ones she left behind.
