Dear Family, Maryjane, your mom and grandmother, was a beautiful and gentle woman. She and my mother, Grandma Kitty, shared a glass of Maryjane's fine May wine when my mother came to visit, sitting and sipping on your front porch on Hackett. Altho' we were both busy with our families, Maryjane always was ready with a big smile and a wave. So special to the whole neighborhood! Nancy Peters

Today I post on facebook one of Maryjane's fav song s:What a wonderful world by Louie Armstrong
Happy Birthday April 1st forever my wonderful friend from across the street with your welcoming smile and gardens of wisdom!

To the entire Sorrell Family. The staff at Bridges Home Healthcare would like to extend their deepest sympathy to you. Your mom was a wonderful woman and such a pleasure to work with. She left a lasting impression. In 1 month she made us feel like we had known her for years. Bless you and hold memories of her near.

Grandma, You were one of the kindest & most generous people I've known. I'm glad you got to meet baby Marcus.

Love, Melissa

Paul, you have our deepest sympathy on the passing of your Mom!
Death leaves a heartache
No one can heal,
Love leaves a memory
No one can steal.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. She was always a sweetheart. I loved talking to her at her famed post at Downer and Kenwood. In fact, I think the city would be wise to re-name Kenwood in her honor.

Sincerest sympathy to the family. Mary Jane was our next door neighbor for 27 years. She was always so pleasant. She shared much of her gardening expertise with us. We will miss her.
