Not sure what to say?

Dr. Little is a fascinating person. I was her secretary in the athletic department at Texas A&M University in early 1970s. It is such a pleasure to read about her life accomplishments. Joanne

Mickey -- As a Former Student of yours, knowing you got one of your degrees from Texas, I still feel compelled to Softly Call The Muster... and answer Here for you as today is April 21st, Aggie Muster. You were a huge influence in my life. I recall all the times I'd drive out to your cabin and help out on your land. We had some good times! Your impact at A&M can still be felt today. The Outdoor Education Institute is still going strong! I am kicking myself that, although you'd been on my...

Oh this hurts my heart.... Mickey was an incredible professor at Texas A&M. After she "retired" and moved to Johnson City, I'd go out to her cabin and bring tools -- chainsaw, axe, saw.... -- and I'd help her out as she shaped her land around her cabin. She knew so much about the outdoors, much more than she could convey in her books. I'm kicking myself for always thinking about visiting her but not calling or going out there. Dr. Little -- you always had my utmost respect. Heaven gained a...

She was one of my profs at Tex A&M and taught me the schottish. She was well liked and left a positive impression on all of her students. I will never forget Dr. Little.

Dr Little was a big influence on me as a young teacher. I arrived in Texas after college and teaching in Maryland, a state that supported outdoor education to a great degree. I was kind of lost in Texas schools looking for ways to teach concepts of conservation and ecology. But Dr Little wrote and promoted outdoor learning such that programs sprouted. My 2nd year teaching in Austin ISD and each year afterward I took my students camping. I know those kids remember to this day, and some may...

I met Mickey on my first Volunteer in Mission trip in 1993 to Costa Rica and we went on many VIM trips after that including St Genevieve, MO, to Mercedes, TX and to Anchorage and Homer, AK, and even worked at Johnson FMC a couple of times. She was very much involved with Mt. Wesley Encampment in Kerrville, TX. She was a member of our camping group for awhile.
She loved sweets and always looked forward to my bringing her turtles. My late husband, Carl, made her a birdhouse and put a...

Condolences and prayers to her sweet family who took such great care of her. Many blessings to you all! Dr. Little was one of my professors at Mary Hardin- Baylor. She was indeed very special and will be missed.
