Mildred E. (Bobeck) Alzapiedi, 100, died Friday, March 5, 2021, in UMass Medical Center, Worcester, after a brief illness.


She leaves a daughter, Sandra Flink, of Leicester; two sisters: Nancy Williams of Ohio and Judith Innamorati of Sterling; two grandchildren: David Flink and his wife, Dolores, and Darlene Bruce; a granddaughter-in-law, Lisa Flink; seven great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Joslyn and her husband, Dan, Kimberly Gaspie and her husband, Charlie, Scott, Erin and Matt Bruce, Doug Flink, Jr., and Dan Flink; two great-great-grandchildren: Beau Joslyn and Allison Gaspie; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard F. Alzapiedi, who died in 2010, and their grandson, Doug Flink, who died in 2020. Three siblings, Robert and Charles Bobeck and Elizabeth Sangenario, also predeceased her.


Millie was born and raised in Clinton, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Czulak) Bobeck.


For many years, she worked at the former ITT Suprenant, Clinton, retiring in 1985.  Previously, she was employed at the former Miron Mills, Clinton.


An avid reader, Millie was smart, witty, and beautiful, right until the end.


A private graveside service will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton, under the care and direction of McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton.  To share a memory of Millie, or offer condolences to her family, please sign the Guest Book.
