I lived three houses from the corner of Spring Road on W.11th in the 60's. Mom would send us to Millie's for our mid-week milk and bread. We bought our Monkees bubblegum cards there, too. It was a sad day when she closed her store. Millie was a kind, pleasant and generous spirit. Although we are diminished by her passing, we are all richer for having known her. Hers is one soul that got the express elevator UP!!!!
