At least one of my children had Mrs. Bekker for a teacher & I remember how excited they were to receive a card from their new teacher in the mail before school opened. What a special way to get acquainted with a new student! I also remember playing golf with Millie, always a smile on her face & a friendly word. She always went out of her way to greet you when you met her in the store, & frequently asked how your family was doing. She was a very special woman, & a fantastic role model for...
