Mildred Josephine Briggs

My dear sister-in-law Josephine Briggs came into my life when I was in the 6th grade. My brother Keith had left our home in Burlington, Wyoming to work in Washington D.C. for J. Edger Hoover. I always thought he was wonderful and enjoyed the teasing and attention he gave to me as a little sister. One day my mom told me Keith was coming home for a visit and bringing someone home with him. We were all excited to meet the young lady he had talked about in our long-distance telephone...

What a full life she lived! She was a blessing to countless people, including me. I shall miss her very much. May God bless and comfort her family.
