Indeed there is a great loss in our lives, with Granny's passing. She was such a very special love one in my life. When James and I were young with two small sons, there were allot of washing and drying clothes to be done. My mama and daddy had provided us with a washer and then one day I looked out front of our house and Granny was having a dryer delivered to our home. No words can ever express the loss of my dear family mentor. Mildred was always there for me as I grew up and was my second mother. I spent more time at her house than I did at mine. She will always be a part of the special memories of my childhood. She was there for me when I lost my mother and I will miss her so much. She is indeed singing in heaven now.
