Always thinking of you and how proud you would be of Alex and Charlie.

Tonight, the stars they just seem dimmer
the light emitted thinner
and fading really fast
staring up at space
seeing its darkened face
eyes looking to the past.
often I sit and wonder,

I am writing this today to commemorate your 95th birthday. It saddens me so, that you passed away a few months shy of this momentous occasion.
