Dr. Mildred Dixon and her family are longtime friends of my family. Our families lived nearby for years and we children grew up together. I will always remember that we were like a blended family during my early childhood years. I have only sweet and loving memories of Mildred and her family. She´s a rare gem- mom, scientist, great neighbor, and loyal supporter of Tuskegee Institute/University. Dr. Mildred Dixon was known far and wide for her loving kindness. Her gift for welcoming friends and strangers alike was only one of her many outstanding talents. A gifted doctor who dearly loved the Tuskegee community she will be remembered and cherished forever. Mildred Dixon was a longtime friend of my family in Tallahassee, Florida. We will miss her warm, gentle smile and loving personality. What an inspiration she will always be to those who were fortunate to know Mildred.

My Grandma was a podiatrist who was very sweet, kind, and funny. She taught me to never give up and to always be yourself. Rest in peace grandma we all love you we always s will love you to this day forward and for the rest of our lives.

Dr. Dixon will always be remembered as a vital part of the Tuskegee family. Her legacy will live on in the fabric of the community to which she gave so much. May precious memories of a life well-lived comfort her family and friends.
