Aunt Dollie with her nephew Bob Korenke at the Drummond Family Reunion

Dollie and Bob Drummond gave me a warm welcome upon my arrival from Spain in April 1977,and I quickly felt as an important part of my new family. Dollie has been more than my Mother in Law, she has been a Mother. Her social, caring, and jolly nature has brought many happy moments of family togetherness. She has also been of comfort and strength in times of tragedy and sadness. Her memories will always be with us. May The Lord have already granted her a special place in Heaven.

We were privileged to know such a special lady as Dolly.

Dollie's enthusiasm and verve for life was such a great model for me. To know her was to think about the good. She was always such an awesome example of living life that moment as well as remembering the past and looking forward to the future. I will miss her cute smile, her singing, and her fun stories.

Some of my best memories growing up on Kraft Avenue were made with Dollie D. Colorful pancakes (that Dale refused to eat!) stories of teeth trees after losing a tooth in the back yard and many more just as entertaining, and of course her wonderful poems. (I wish I had copies of some of them) I love Dollie D and will cherish the memories I have of her. They have truly helped to shape my life.
