Not sure what to say?

Miss Fischle was my kindergarten & 6th grade teacher at Dodge Elementary. Rest In Peace - you definitely made a difference in my life. Kathleen (Schieble) Shonitsky

Buffalo State owes a great many excellent teachers practicing today to the guidance and mentorship of this grand lady and outstanding teacher. We are sad to hear of her passing, but know full well that the sum of her life's work will live on for many, many years to come.

Mil was a wonderful mentor to me and one of the most creative teachers I ever knew. She was a life long learner....taking up kayaking while her peers were in their rocking chairs!

I worked with Mildred while at Buffalo State - it was always a pleasure! My sympathy extended to her family.

To Ellen, other friends, family and colleagues, deep sympathy and gratitude for your support of Mildred--"Miss Fischle," as she will always remain in memory. She was my dear kindergarten and second grade teacher. It would be impossible to count the lives she touched and enriched, foolhardy to try to calculate her impact on this community. May she enjoy the reward of her goodness.

Mildred was a beloved organist and choir director at St. Lukes E&R Church many years ago. I have fond memories as a teenager. Rest in peace, Mildred.

Dr. Fischle along with Dr. Marian Benz we worked together to assist their students in their APACE program.
