Mildred E. Grant

Mom & I went everywhere together. I definitely attribute the fact that much of success I gained came from her encouragement and support. We traveled all along the eastern sea-board from NYC to FL. As little children to adulthood. Later My two sons & I took days off from my place of employment, again the renown Correctional Center, MCC-NY ( now closed.) To coincide with her M.D. appointments. She had had several heart attacks and strokes, BUT to look at her... you would never ever think...

Although, I have never met Mother Grant personally, I did meet her by the conference line, Spend Some Time Seesions. Mother Grant had made deep impression on me due to her devotion to the LORD. I was deeply moved by the poem she wrote and recited in Church. Her daughter, Vivian Thomas, posted the video on her Facebook page. I watched th video about five times. Mildred E. Grant, has gone on to arms of Jesus, received her great reward, and NOW! Knows the LORD as she was known by him!!!...

I will love you forever, granny!

She was quite a lady!!

Mom always gave me words of wisdom. Actually that did not come from scripture. I learned that later. She lived in my home during the week to care for my two boys. Cooking, cleaning, getting the boys OFF to school. She helped/assisted me to become the career woman, executive, and Medical Professional @ the renown MCC-NY or the METROPOLITAN CORRECTION CENTER- New York.- Take your rest, we loved you, BUT GOD loved you BEST!!-IJN-VCT
