Celtic Blessing for Dear Milly.
"When you come to die may it be after a long life.
May you be peaceful and happy and in the presence
of those who really care for you.
May your going be sheltered and
your welcome assured.
May your soul smile in the embrace of your
anam cara (soul friend)."

My heart goes out to the Jellema family. Thank you for sharing Milly with Scouts for many years. So touched the lives of thousands through her actions and words. She loved you but made you grow. She was my Girl Scout Leader through high school in Troops 752 and 19 with Linda Padley. I'm grateful for both of them and they certainly helped to shape me into the lifelong volunteer that I am.

To all of you... Millie was my mentor in Girl Scouting. We led a troop together for a number of years. She taught me everything I needed to know to take troops camping. I think of her often, especially as I am now an Outdoor Skills trainer for GS. She is always in my head when teaching volunteers- hoping I’m passing on her wisdom.
