Mildred Kaitschuck Obituary

Born in Chicago, Illinois to parents Henry and Myrtle Weiss.

Millie passed away peacefully at her home in Felton, CA at the age of 101.

She is survived by her six children: Daniel Melvin Kaitschuck , Ruth Ann Jocius, Joan Ann Cureton, Rebecca Ann Dillon, Cynthia Ann Brown and Barbara Ann Adney. As well as 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin.

Millie met her husband at Kelvin Park High School in Chicago on a bet from his lettermen's club that the first girl who walked by he would propose to. That girl was Millie! They married on August 2, 1942, at Moffett Field, CA. and moved to Felton, CA. after World War II. They were married for 72 years.

In 1951 they joined the LDS church. Millie was a committed member for the remainder of her life and worked at the LDS temple in Oakland for 16 years.

She attended Cabrillo College where she earned her LVN degree in 1963. She was also a dedicated volunteer at Grey Bears for 23 years.

Her Memorial service will be held at the LDS Chapel in Ben Lomond, located at 9545 Love Creek Rd. on March 29, 2025 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Valley Churches United or Grey Bears.

She is greatly missed and so loved by her family, friends and church members. We will miss you mom and love you so much!

Millie was a true friend and truly missed. She always was on the upside no matter what happened . I was truly amazed at her stamia
