Bob, it wasn't only her smile, but her laugh that I remember well. I rarely had a conversation with her without hearing her laugh. Your Mom was pregnant with Nancy when mine was pregnant with Barbara - a bit late in life. She and my father met by chance at a school function at that time, and she turned to my father in a crowded stairway and said "Ralph, imagine the two of us having a baby at our age!" A brief pause followed, and then that laugh - accompanied, of course, by all others...

I will always carry fond memories of my time shared with Mrs. Marshall. In my youth, I spent quite a lot of time at the Marshall's home in Bronxville. She was gracious and always made me feel so at home. When I think of her I can still feel her kind, calm demeanor, sweet smile and encouraging way towards me. I will share one brief story:
