Not sure what to say?

To the family of Didi, I have you in my thoughts and prayers. Mary Rowe

Our dear Didi, how special were the times when we lived in St. Anne's Parrish, particularly the sing-a-longs at your house, singing in church and the many Cursillo activities. Things don't last, memories do. I first saw you when Dorothy first began taking me to mass and I would see the McIntosh family process single file into church and take their seats. It doesn't get better than that and it touches my life to this day. Final farewells are just so very hard. You surely did find and...

Any woman to birth and raise nine children is to be admired, and to continue on throughout the years as she did, with such spunk and spirit, is truly inspirational. I will forever be grateful to Didi for bringing my dear friend, Sally into this world. Both women are examples to me of the strength of a gentle heart. May peace be with all.

Didi (my mother) had many axioms she would speak often, a kind of compendium of her life experience and her faith translated into daily thoughts, which she imparted to her family and friends.
I call them "Didi's Beatitudes"

Blessed are the poor in spirit... "we will just have to do without" and one's heart goes out to them - what can we do to help?"
Blessed are the downtrodden......

Oh, Didi, how we will miss you! You were such a good friend. What fun we had together with "the gang" at St. Anne's. "Them were the days!" Thanks for all the good memories. Hugh, you are surely in our prayers, along with all your children, grandchildren and greats. God bless you. Dick and Patti Burke
