Not sure what to say?

I was extremely saddened to learn of Mimi's passing. I knew her when I was working at the National Air and Space Museum from 1974-1980. She was a human dynamo, and extremely helpful to all the staff and researchers who had need of library services. Together with Catherine Scott and, later, Dominick Pisano, she established a standard for library responsiveness at the NASM that continues to this day. Beyond this, she was a very funny, entertaining, and energetic person. No matter what the...

I used to work with Mimi at the Smithsonian, I actually got her the xfer out of the Library and to NMAI. She was always fun to work with and talk to, a ton of personality. We met up a few times for dinner when she traveled to NY, as she lived and worked in the VA area. We went to Charleston SC for a training session for the SI, and she told me that she loved it so much that she decided to move there after retirement. I spoke with her a few years ago, she told me she was repairing computers...

Our deepest sympathies on the loss of your dear sister and to Judi, who lost her very best friend & "sister". Prayers of comfort to each of you and those who were the ultimate closest to her.

Mimi was my "go to" computer person and she was terrific at instructing me how to be more techno- efficient. I retired a couple of years ago so had not seen her and was shocked to see the obit in the paper. I live overseas much of the year and am there now or I would be at the funeral home this evening for her life celebration. Great sense of humor! She will be missed. Judy Wolk

Mimi was always good for a laugh. She loved to find out the neighborhood scoop and catch up by her mailbox. She´s saw the full circle of how my life changed on Harbor Place Drive. She was always so supportive of me and Abby and Charlie. She ordered Boy Scout popcorn from Charlie and Girl Scout cookies from Abby (even though she couldn´t eat them). It won´t be same on our street without her. We love Mimi and she will truly be missed. Go Skins!

Mimi was a family friend for many years and I had been in touch with her recently & frequently with regard to my Dad, Jim Mustard´s passing. I hope they are reunited in heaven and sharing some laughs and memories together. All my best and condolences to the family. Stacey

Mimi was my neighbor across the street. I will remember her with great fondness. She was a strong , kind hearted woman - inspiring in many ways ! Sending my condolences to her friends and family. I will miss you Mimi

I first met Mimi at the James Island County Park dog park when she first moved to Charleston. Then our paths crossed again in the Garden Club of Charleston. At the garden club board meeting in early March, Mimi looked lovely and lively, and "in the pink," as my mother used to say. My deepest condolences to family and friends, and her beloved Lady. Much loved and missed, now and always.

Mimi was a wonderful neighbour. She sponsored me for the Garden Cub Of Charleston. Her vivacious personality made her fun to be around.
