My condolences to all of you at this sad and difficult time, especially today on Mother's Day. Your mom and dad are together again, and I am sure they are watching over all of you.
I had never heard of a texas sheet cake until I had met your mom. She would always arrive at Kathy and Mike's house with two of them. One had nuts on it, and the other one didn't. I make them often now, and I will always remember her fondly as I make them.
