Mildred Virginia Thompson

Mildred and her family were my neighbors for over 40 years and we attended the same Parish . When my husband was ill she was the first person at the door with kindness and food and I could always count on her visits with the Legion of Mary to bring prayer and hope to my family. She was one-of-a-kind. Thank you Mildred for all those years of friendship. I will miss you.

Mildred Jenkins was a good friend to me. I met her at Gold Star Wives of America and she befriended me as a newcomer. She served there as the Historian. She then introduced me to the Society of Military Widows where she was active in delivering coffee for the veterans at Mather Hospital. We met together at the meetings sharing each other's company. I miss her.
