I feel so blessed and fortunate having grown up, and lived most of my life, next door to the Zaper family. Though not related by blood, I have always been made to feel as such. Mrs. Zaper was truly one of the strongest individuals I have ever known, and her reassuring presence will be missed greatly on 68th street. Christmas, especially, will never be the same.
