Miles Loadholt

Miles was a selfless individual... committed to family, community, and fellow South Carolinians. He was always very supportive of USC Aiken and USC Columbia...and served both universities faithfully! I long will remember his sense of humor, the stories he told with that distinctive southern drawl, his kindness, and his commitment to service! Miles fished with Rip and me a lot around Groton. Those are some of my first memories. What a wonderful person! I can see it like it was yesterday. What a great smile!

Ann, My condolences to you and your family on the passing of Miles. He was a special friend during our days at Carolina, especially trying to decide where we were going to eat dinner, going to track meets and baseball and basketball games, playing intramural football, all while traveling in that '58 Chevy.
