Not sure what to say?

My husband Rik and I first met Evelyn and Miles in Summit, NJ in 1971 when we moved next door to them. Little did we know how blessed we were to be moving next door to such wonderful people. Miles entertained us with his bobbing bird and other fun inventions. Evelyn and I formed a lasting friendship until she passed away in 2004. She was my inspiration with her deep faith, along with Miles, and the wonderful way they raised their children. Miles and Evelyn will always be in our hearts for...

My husband and I got to know Miles when our mother/mother-in-law resided on the same floor in Woodside as Miles. He provided many hours of friendship to her, especially at mealtimes. We always appreciated Miles' quick wit, kindness and great smile. He was such a gentleman. He will be greatly missed. You are in our thoughts.

Our hearts are saddened by this man's passing, and our thoughts and prayers for peace and strength go to his family and friends. We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Miles Sullivan in the dining room at Friendship Village, where Lois' Dad, Bernard Dontje and Step-Mom, Emily were residents. He was a good man with a great sense of humor and a humble nature, and he will be missed.
