In Menory of Husband, Father, G-pa, Great G-pa, family and friend

Due to the generosity of family and friends who gave to the memorial tree fund, we were able to plant trees near where Miles was born and grew up. An Apple tree in Bark River, MI at the Bower home. Near where he lived out most of his adult life, A pine tree at Hannan's in memory of G-pa from his great grand daughter, Savanna, a Flowering pear at his daughter and grandson, Linda and Justin's house in Durand, MI, In memory of G-pa 2 trees where planted along the Durand Cross Country track...

My dad was a giant to me, big & strong as an old oak tree. With strong values of what was right, a gentle hand and quiet might. He and my mom loved to roam, but family was always their home. Time eventually takes its toll, weakens the body but not the soul. His spirit we will hold always and in our memories he will stay. Kim

The ultimate family man!

A great teacher, a treasured friend, and a fantastic father. Don't sweat the small stuff and make sure you can maintain your sense of humor were key ingredients in his infinite wisdom. He will be truly missed every day, my father, Miles White.

Miles was a neighbor, partner and friend who is greatly missed. We helped each other build our houses, vacationed and of course put toys together on Christmas eve. Our families are one extended family and as the White family feels the loss so do we.

I will always rember Miles with a smile on his face. When he was helping build our house he was always saying "You'll never notice it going sixty down the road" or "Just put another trim board up" which seemed to take the stress off whatever wasn't going right.

On Behalf of Arrowhead Lodge #126 Fraternal Order of Police I wanted to express that our thoughts and prayers are with the family.I wasn't a close friend or partner of Miles but I did work for him a few times. I recall the last time I spoke to him was at White's Landing. God Bless Fraternally, Ron Rutherford

I was really saddened to hear of Miles's death. I pray for a peace that passes all understanding for the family and friends

We were partol officers partners in the ghetto streets of inner city Flint. Miles was a mentor and a darn good car handler in the many high speed pursuits we had.

I was very sorry to hear of the passing of Miles. I remember him from his time spent at the Flint Police Academy (even while it was still a part of the old Clark School). I appreciated him and his influence on my life. My thoughts go out to each member of his family.
