Not sure what to say?

We had some good holidays together, sorry we didn't get in one last visit. Thinking of you with love

Miles and I were friends and I got several flutes and piccolos from him. We also had some really nice times together. Once when we had a double reed conference here in Las Vegas, Miles was here and performed the Villa-Lobos bassoon/flute duet. I always thought of him as a piccolo player, but when I heard his performance of this piece I realized that besides being a friend, he was a world class flute player!

Anne, I only heard about Miles passing this past week at the NFA convention in Minneapolis (Aug. 10th). I was devastated and saddened. I cannot imagine a world without Miles. He was a great friend, an excellent flute student at IU and such a fine Piccolo player. I shall miss his unusual phone conversations.
I tried calling you via the old phone number, and I have no way of
contacting you. Please do call me sometime.

Fellow professional piccolo player...you were awesome. Enjoyed talking to you about flutes. Rest in Peace, Miles.

I will always cherish the times I spent talking with Miles...he was such an interesting person and a wonderful musician. ....I hope that all the time you shared together will bring you comfort....my deepest condolences...

May fond memories of Miles bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family.

After living next door to you for 30 years, it won't be the same without you! David and I miss you and hope you are at peace wherever you are! You are definitely at peace from our daughters' parties.

Miles was a friend. I enjoyed our talks, and the time we spent at the NFA Convention in Phoenix. I will miss him. Mara and I extend our condolences to Anne and to all his family and friends.

My love to Katie and Adrian Dimond and to all Miles' family and friends. So sad that this talented musician has been silenced. I know you will find comfort in your happy memories.
