Aunt Jan, It broke my heart to learn of my mentor passing. I learned so much from Millard about Philately (stamp collecting). To this day I still collect with his passion. He also taught me what it is to be a man who loves his children, he was truly a man's man who lived life to its fullest never doing anything halfway. I know that today your heart aches but tomorrow it will be filled with his influence. Please keep in touch and let me know if you need any help dealing with his collection,...

Jan and Family,
I can truthfully tell you that I feel your loss. As you know, Millard and I have been friends since we were 7 years old. He was a major part of my life growing up. He was a wonderful boy, son, man, soldier, husband, father, grandfather, and a very special friend. He loved all of you deeply. My memories of him are forever. My prayers are with all of you at this time.

Jan and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I know we haven't kept in touch but I'll always remember the kindness you and Millard showed to me and my family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Jeannie in VA

My fondest memory of Mr. Hanbury is the first time I met him. We were attending one of Ally's pageants, and we were outside waiting for the judges to finish tallying the scores. He walked up to me and said that he loved women in heels because of the way it made their butts sit up. I laughed hysterically for the next ten minutes. Very proudly, he informed me that no one could wear heels like his Jan. I was in love with him from that moment on. God bless you, Mr. Hanbury. You will be...

The love Millard showed to me is amazing. He never treated me like a stranger,he always helped when he could and he even got on me when I missed up.From the first time he met me he put me to work and always had me busy doing something in his yard .I enjoyed spending time with him digging in the pond or rearranging his tools, but he always made time to talk.He will always be in my heart and in my thoughts and I will miss him a lot.God bless you Millard and God bless your family.
