Not sure what to say?

I cherish my memories of Dr. Tierce. I am sad that he has left this physical world.I think of him all the time, and wish I had been there as a friend when he needed all of us. I was late to find him, though I have tried several times. My love and sympathy to the family. There is no one like Dr. Tierce .He taught me how to tube feed my dog ,and i did so for 10 years. I think of him always. Chrysti Reeves -Turner and Henry Turner

I only learned of Dr. Tierce's passing this weekend and Lance and I were heartbroken. He was the most amazing vet. In addition to our own dogs, we had many foster puppies and no matter what day or what time of day or night, we knew we could call Dr. Tierce. He saved a couple of our personal dogs. Lance would bake him apricot scones and he would often keep one in his jacket pocket while he worked. There are simply no words and I am so sorry we missed his services. We have missed him and Lynda!

I started going to Dr Tierce in the early 1990´s. I was referred to him by Gaye and he came highly recommended. I was devastated when my rottie puppy Lexie broke her leg on the growth plate and all the surgeons I spoke with were not confident nor very reassuring on the procedure that would need to be done. They were going to charge an enormous amount to do a procedure that they had either never done or only did one or two and the outcomes were not promising. When I went to Dr Tierce he...

I am so sorry to hear this. Dr. Tierce was a legend in our house... I´ll never forget when he looked at me in the waiting room and said come here. I knew others had been waiting before me but I knew he didn´t want me to wait any longer. He took me to the room said ..:: there´s cancer... here, here, and here. I know you´re about to graduate from nursing school so I´m going to send her home on meds but it´s gonna be soon. I came back the next weekend and said ok let´s just put her down. I can´t...

I am very sad to hear of Dr. Tierce's passing. My thoughts are with Lynda, Becky, Buddy and family.

Dear Lynda and Family, For the first time in my long life, I have no words to express my sorrow. This man was from Heaven and has now returned. He performed miracles daily and there will never be anyone else like him. I agree with each and every one of these reviews, especially my sister, Mary's. I love you all and cannot click "other" because he was family from the time I was little. Beth Phillips Engelhardt

If I may add to my previous memories, I remembered two thing that tell of Dr. Tierce's expertise. I called on a veterinary school class mate of his, who told me that if he got a patient that he didn't have the expertise to help, he would send the client to Dr. Tierce. Then Dr. Tierce was one of the first and few veterinarians to treat his patients in hyperbaric chambers. Hyperbaric chambers allow patients with wounds to be treated in higher concentrations than normal, and can heal when...

I still have dogs that Dr. Tierce took care of. He once put a hand made "plate" in the head of a dog I had that a larger dog had crushed her skull. Probably hit me 5 or 6 more years with that dog. He was the Dr. House of vets to me. If you added all the extra years, end to end, people got with their animals because of him, I bet it would be over 1000 years. I remember how personal he took it when he couldn´t save another one of mine. The world is less kind now.

Rest in peace Dr. Tierce. Condolences and prayers to the family, Lynda, Becky and Buddy. They felt like family to me. I worked with him off and on many years. A lot of late nights doing surgeries and caring for critical patients. He taught me so much, I will never forget him.
