Not sure what to say?

Dear Billy and all of Jack and Millie Bates family, I am sincrerely sending my love through this message. I met Billy in the waiting room when Billy was at MUSC for radiation treatments, as was my husband. I also worked with Millie at DFAS. She was in the small group of only a few wherein we did similar duties at the time I retired in March 2000. (I knew Cathy Gill who has posted a msg.) Millie was a fun person for sure. I found the notice after the funeral, so I could not attend....

My deepest sympathy to all the family for your loss. I worked with Millie at DFAS. Oh, Millie was truly a lovely person and so much fun to be around. And Jack was a real pleasure to know also. I was just so sad to hear about them both. But I know they are together now in God's loving arms. Cathy Gill

Frances and Billy - My thoughts and prayers are with you both. You know how much I loved your mom! and Jack made her life complete! They were both so special to so many people. They shared a love together that most people dream of. It is so hard to believe that they are both gone. God knew they were a team, and would be lost without each other. But one things for sure, there is a party going on in Heaven! I can almost hear Aunt Mildred singing! They both will be missed but we will...

Mom , Its hard for me to think that you and Jack are no longer here. You both where a joy to my familys hearts. Although we did not get to spend much time together , the time that we did will bring years of good memories and I thank you for that. I will miss the phone calls from you and Jack and listening to Jack tell me a joke from across the room. All your grandkids ( Chad , Ryan, Phillip , Patrick and Tabitha ) all enjoyed you and Jack and will miss you very much. Thank you for taking the...

It's hard for Jimmy and I to look at the condo next door knowing that Miss Millie and Mr. Jack are no longer there. I have to look twice each time I am getting into my car every morning because Miss Millie would come out and tell me to "be careful" and "I'll see you later". We miss them very much.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you through this very difficult time. Mr. Jack and Miss Millie touched our lives as they did with so many others and we will always cherish the...

May God bless you and your family!

Millie & Jack...I have thought of you often since we all retired from DFAS, and I remember how much fun we had together. You were a joy to be around. To me, you and Jack were meant to be together forever. I will miss both of you. My sympathy to your son, daughter, grands, and to all of the friends whose life you touched. I am blessed that you crossed my path.

Billy I just heard of Your Mother and Jack's passing, I worked in the same agency as your mother at DFAS for many years, talked to her on many occassions. Please know that my family's thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time and may your memories sustain you doing this time. If there is anything that my family can do for you or your family please don't hesitate to let me know.

It is with pleasure that I say, I was a neighbor of Millie and Jack for many years, a lot of good memories were made around our "Condo Pool". They will be missed by many, may God take them into Eternity with outstreched arms. Rest in Peace.
Your Friend,
Stan
