(Mike’s sister Evelyn) and Uncle Mike lived lives filled with many stories of hardships including the Dust Bowl, The Great Depression, World Wars and more. Their work ethic was amazing, and the pain they both felt from life’s challenges was a sadness. Uncle Mike was always a fun and Intriguing conversationalist. He rarely ever gave you a straight yes or no answer but always left you thinking about what we discussed. I watched He and my mother grow very close in their golden years. It was such a blessing to spend the time with him and Connie when they would come out to Denver. Our love and thoughts go out to all.
