Dear Barbara,
I only met your dad once at my PhD graduaion party. in Champaign. I hhad heard so much about him, so was so glad I met him - he was charming, interesting and a devoted dad. You were a devoted daughter. Fondly, Chris

Barb, you have been in my thoughts and prayers since the night you called to tell me about Dad. He was one of the
nicest (if not THE nicest) gentlemen
I have ever met. Of course, you were
doubly blessed because your mother was
a saint also. It is not a coincidence

is...

Barbara, my sincere sympathy goes out to you for the loss of your dad. I have known your dad over the years, and I enjoyed reading his obituary and learning much more about his accomplishments.

We will always have fond memories of Milo's visit with us in Naples before his trip with Barbara to the Keys. He rode around in the golf cart with Barbara while she played golf with us. We'll remember, too, when Barbara brought Milo for lunch in McHenry as part of their trip around Lake Michigan. Fun times!

I was priveleged to spend time with Mr. Hall, as well as Mrs. Hall, on their visits to Barb. I enjoyed those times very much. Words aren't really adequate at times like these. Just know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
