Milton Bates

I'm sorry to see that Milton is gone. I enjoyed meeting and talking with him when he came briefly to the Baltimore Jewish Cultural Chavurah. After that I sometimes saw his letters to the editor and in one case a commentary article in the Sun, always enjoying (usually agreeing with) his perspective. This kind of person, who thinks and feels deeply, will be missed.

To the family of Milton Bates, I know that this is a difficult time for you right now, because you no longer have your loved one with you. However be comforted in the fact that God is love and he wants you to be happy, so he is going to one day in the near future do away with death and the things that cause it. So please hold onto that thought along with the good memories that you have of Milton and let that get you through the rough times. Have a good day and please try to be strong. ...
