Not sure what to say?

I happened to be reading about the Alamo Scouts and saw the notice that Mr. Beckworth has passed away. I never had the honor of knowing him or any of his family but I wanted to extend my condolences to his family and my appreciation for what he and his comrades did for our country. I know that he will be missed greatly.

Our deepest condolences to the Beckworth family. Milt was an American hero and a national treasure. Will always recall eating barbecue and talking history with him at the Alamo Scouts reunion in Kansas City. He will be missed.

Uncle Milton will be greatly missed by all he has touched.
All our love. Eddie, Dianne & Matthew Byrd

We will miss your father so much. He was such a wonderful, loving friend to us.

Dear Suzie, Linda, Liz, Laura, Judson and Nathan,

Uncle Milton will be greatly missed by all. He was a wonderful Father and Grandfather. He was a great Uncle, a military hero and one heck of a fisherman. (I only hope he left a few fish out there for me to catch). I know he is in a better place now-probably talking over old times with Dad and hugging on Aunt Aldora. He will be dearly missed.
