Not sure what to say?

May your family be comforted by the God of all comfort at this sad time of your life. (Phillipians 4:6&7)

~Birmingham Al.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your hour of grief. May God grant you the strength to endure in this time of great sadness.

Milton was one of the finest scholars I ever knew. He and Ann entertained generations of students in their home, and they were incredibly gracious to me when I joined the Rhodes faculty. All the best to Ann as well as to all who loved Milton. He was the best.

I am so sorry to hear of Milton's passing. My parents John and Martha (McCollum) Vines were dear lifelong friends of Anne and Milton. Love to you all. Praying for you all!

I am sorry for your loss. May prayer comfort you.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray constantly."

My condolences to Milton's family. Although three years younger, I knew Milton from Bessemer High School and regarded him as a mentor. I did not know about his connection with Washington and Lee University. He joined the W&L faculty five years after I graduated.

Time and unexpected events overtake us all. The span of our life is 70 years or 80 if we are especially strong. Psalm 90:10

We loved Milton very much. He was a warm, caring person and will be greatly missed. Flo and a Larry Brown
