Milton and I were pledges together in `62 and I´d never met anyone like him and we became close friends. Shortly, life took us in different directions but we kept touch . I and a friend actually did part time work for him at Partitions Inc. back in the day. A wonderful friend.

Milton and I were officers together in the NC National Guard stationed in Rocky Mount Admin Company in the seventies. He was quite the guy. Everyone loved him. He was just building his company in Raleigh Partitions, Inc. and was very devoted to making it a success. I visited his Raleigh home once and met his lovely wife. I am sure he is missed.

Family of Milton Hobbs, Please know how sad it was to learn about Milton passing away in July. Milton & his sister, Sandra, were my classmates at Cary Senior High, and Milton & I both attended NC State. Milton & Sandra were outstanding students, as well as great athletes. Further, Milton & I became fraternity brothers, too, in Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity’s NCSU chapter. We will certainly miss Milton, but always remember his outstanding qualities.
