Milton Moore

Dear Mrs. Moore, Diane and the rest of Milton's family. Please accept my condolences, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure to know Milt through my late grandfather the late Roy Darwin whom had taught the art of stained glass to Milt. After my grandfather passed in 87 Milt came out to my studio often to get supplies and instruction and also the great friendship we shared. He was a lovely man and funny as the day is long. I will fondly cherish my memories of Milt.

In the summer of 1967 when I was in high school, Mr. Moore was my boss at Ulrich's for U of M's summer school book rush. He patiently trained us how to quickly add up a student's total cost of text books that we wrote on a tab to save time at the cash register. He was very kind and I still remember how courteous he was to young people, a truly nice man.
