Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences.

Mr. Mowrer influenced me in ways he would never know. He helped instill in me a passion for the English language - both written and spoken - that ultimately shaped my life, leading to a career as both a newspaper reporter and opinion columnist. His classes managed to be both educational and entertaining; working on "The Belron" infused my bloodstream with printer's ink.

In one of those strange coincidences of life, I had asked the son of a member...

Dear Marion & Family:
So sorry to hear of your sudden loss. I was a former student of Mr. Mowrer (Bim) at NLHS, and a good friend. To his credit, there are generations of students that he mentored that know the difference between a noun and a verb, a subject and a predicate, and can write a cohesive paragraph. He was the Best! Wishing God's peace to you, the family, as you mourn and miss your dear brother. Having worked with him for years on our Outreach Commission at church, he was ALWAYS ready to cook meals, whether it be for a church function, or whether it was to cook 125 meals to be taken to various missions on our Inside/Out Sunday. He had a giving heart and spirit and will be truly missed! May your many memories of Bim help in your healing process. Love and prayers, Cindy Hofsass

Please except our deepest sympathies
We will miss his friendly smile

Blessings to the family of Bim Mowrer, a warm and caring person who we had the privilege to know through the church's Seniors Alive and the Meals on Wheels Programs. He was an inspiration and friend to all he knew. Carol & Dale Cook

Bim's Family and friends,
We were filled with deep sadness when we heard of Bim's sudden passing from this earthly place. Yet we are comforted by the many memories of good times spent - nearly 50 years - with this warm, caring, gentle and jovial soul. Hopefully, all who read this,
share similar memories. In faith and trust we believe that Bim's spirit now resides in God's eternal realm and we too look forward to reconnecting with him in that place of love and joy.

God bless you Marion, we know your heart is broken. We met your brother and knew immediately that he was a warm, caring, quality individual that everyone loved, especially you. Please accept our condolences. We know we will all see him again one day around the Throne of our King Jesus.
